Hours a week we are finding are recoverable
Next week it happens again. And the week after. And the one after that.
Trained with government funding, not hired at a premium
You already employ the people who could take this off you. They just have not been taught how. We train them, the government pays for most of it, and we do every piece of the paperwork so you never see it.
Free. No obligation. You keep the report either way.
Every owner we sit down with says a version of the same six things.
Everyone is busy and nothing is getting better. The work that would actually move the business is the work nobody has time for.
The good ones are expensive and the affordable ones need training you have not got time to give. So the job stays with you.
It has been on the list since January. It will be on the list in January. Nobody is against it, it just never becomes this week's problem.
Not because the demand is not there. Because you are the ceiling, and there are only so many hours in your week.
You have read the same article fourteen times. You have possibly paid for a tool nobody opens. Still nobody has looked at how your business actually runs.
You half know there is money available. You do not know if you qualify, what the catch is, or who to ask without being sold to.
None of it is fixed by working harder. It is fixed by somebody else in the building being able to do the thing.
People who make the call themselves and get it right, instead of ringing you to ask.
People who stay, because somebody finally invested in them. Training is one of the cheapest retention tools there is.
The business gets bigger and your week does not.
The copying between systems, the chasing, the reports. Gone, because somebody built it out.
Knowing what it costs, what is funded and what happens next, before you commit to anything.
The thing underneath all the others. Not more capacity to work. Less need to.
We are a Kent based, founder led provider, built by somebody who started with nothing and knows exactly what it is like to grow a business on grit and tight margins.
Sarah built TNB from the ground up in 2004, which is why she talks to business owners as one of them rather than as a consultant. It is also why we make funding simple, because business owners deserve the same opportunities as the big players.
Sarah Abel, Founder. Author of The Power of Funding. Finalist, Services Entrepreneur of the Year, Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2026. Ofsted Grade 2, officially rated Good.
"I run a salon and I train, so I thought I knew what was out there. I did not know funding like this existed until TNB showed me. They found it, they did every bit of the paperwork, and my team came out of it more confident than I have ever seen them."
Donna Young, founder and company director
"I didn't understand how I could access funding or if it was even possible. Now I've onboarded four funded learners and officially have my first recurring income stream."
Abbi Caraccio, Owner, Asteria Wellbeing Ltd
"The support has been second to none. I've had plenty of mentors before, but Sarah truly is the godmother of funding, and the whole team are just fantastic."
Sam Mansfield, Owner, Abacus Training Group
Whatever we happen to be running at the moment, this list stays complete. Somebody who came looking for the Roadmap in March should still find it in November.
Ninety minutes on where your hours actually go, then a written report you keep. Where AI would pay, where it would not, who should lead it and who should build it. Start here.
Take somebody who already knows your business, no coding background needed, and turn them into your in house automation expert. Level 4, about eighteen months, funded.
Seven modules for you, not your team. Not to make you do the AI work, to make you able to lead the people doing it and know when they are wrong.
The one that turns a good doer into somebody who can run a shift, hold a difficult conversation and make a call without ringing you first.
Social, email, the website and the tools behind them, learned on your business rather than on a case study. Usually cheaper than the agency it replaces.
The difference between a polite team and a team people come back for. Useful anywhere somebody picks up a phone or answers an email.
What you can claim, what it costs you, what the catch is. In English rather than in funding rules, and updated for the new £2,000 payment from October.
For when the expertise is already in your business and you want it written down, accredited and owned by you rather than rented from somebody else.
When you would rather have somebody who has already built it sitting next to you while you build it.
The whole thing costs you nothing and there is nothing to sign. Worst case you get an honest read on where your hours are going and a plan you can act on without us.
No calendar link, and no webinar you have to sit through before anybody will tell you a number.
A few questions so we can check whether you qualify, then one of our team rings you within 24 to 48 hours. A real conversation with somebody who can actually answer.
You and whoever genuinely knows where the hours go. Sarah runs it herself. Bring an ops manager or a senior admin if it helps, or come alone. Your call.
We write it, you read it. Yours to keep whether you work with us afterwards or not. If it says the answer is not training, it will say so.
We show you what the government will pay for and what it leaves you to cover, in pounds, before anything is committed. Then we do the paperwork.
If you say yes, signing up takes three weeks, and we show you exactly what we need from you in each of those weeks. That is a promise about your time, not just about ours.
This is the reason most owners never claim what they are entitled to. It is not the money, it is the forms. So we do them. Checking eligibility, the funding account, the agreements, the evidence, the audit trail. You get asked for a handful of details once and then it happens around you.
And you get a named person, not a ticket number. One of our team stays with you through the whole thing, and if something is slipping they tell you before it becomes your problem.
Your PAYE details, half an hour for a walkthrough of the workplace, and somebody available to sign things off. That is genuinely most of it.
If it is not right we will say so on the first call, and usually point you at something that does fit. We would rather lose ten minutes than sign you up to something that unravels in month three.
The call, the 90 minute session and the full written report cost you nothing. If you go ahead with training, government funding covers most or all of it. Where a contribution applies we tell you the exact figure upfront, before anything is committed. For staff under 25 it is fully funded. For staff 25 and over it is £900 plus VAT.
There is not one. This money is set aside by the government specifically to upskill the UK workforce. It is not a loan, there is nothing to repay, and claiming it is exactly what the funding is for. The only real catch is that most businesses never find out it exists.
Yes, and this is the biggest misunderstanding about it. It is not only for new starters. Somebody who has worked for you fifteen years can go on a funded programme, including a manager or a director, as long as the training is genuinely new to them.
A short initial call, then 90 minutes for the audit session. That is it. We write the report, you read it. If you go ahead, your team trains around their normal work, so delivery does not stop.
Our experience says the opposite happens. People who feel invested in stay longer. Training is one of the strongest retention tools there is, and it costs a fraction of replacing somebody.
Truthfully. AI is not here to take their jobs, it is here to give them their time back. Think about how your people actually spend their days. Managers, right down to customer service, losing hours every week to admin instead of the work that moves a business. This training takes that admin off their plate. Once the team sees that is what it does, the fear turns into the strongest buy in you will ever get.
Yes, that is exactly who it is designed for. The programme assumes no coding background. It takes somebody who already understands how your business runs and teaches them to build. Understanding the business is the harder half, and they already have it.
Entirely your call. Some owners come alone. Most bring one or two people who know where the hours go, an ops manager, a commercial lead, a senior admin. Anybody you feel should be in the room is welcome.
No. That is where TNB started in 2004 and we still do it well, but most of what we deliver now is leadership, marketing, customer service and AI inside service businesses.
A few questions, then one of us rings you. Ten minutes and you will know whether any of this is worth your time.
Free. No obligation. You keep the report either way.
